Azorra leases three new Embraer E195-E2s to LOT Polish Airlines

Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) expands Amazon network

Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) announced an agreement to operate ten additional Boeing 767 freighters for Amazon.com Services LLC in the Amazon Air network by the end of 2024. The operating agreement through which ATSG’s airlines operate those aircraft will be extended to May 2029, with extension rights for five additional years. Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) Chairman & CEO Joe Hete, said “We’re pleased to further expand our leading role in the Amazon Air network that we started in 2016. Our operating capabilities will continue to support Amazon’s customer-centric commitments for years to come.”

 

Aviation Capital Group (ACG) announces promotions

Aviation Capital Group (ACG) announced the promotions of Rob Downes and John Nally to key leadership positions effective from 1st May 2024. John Nally, a member of our Trading team since 2021, has been promoted to Vice President, Head of Aircraft Trading. Rob Downes, currently Head of our Aircraft Trading business, has been promoted to the newly created position of Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer and will join ACG’s Senior Leadership Team. Azorra leases three new Embraer E195-E2s to LOT Polish Airlines

LOT Polish Airlines will add three new Embraer E195-E2 to their fleet on lease from Azorra with the first aircraft arrive by the end of July this year, with all aircraft deliveries completed in Q3 2024 ,to enhance operational flexibility and accommodate network expansion. Azorra CEO & Founder John Evans said “As an existing customer to Azorra, we’re proud to support LOT in its strategic growth and operation of one of the youngest fleets in Europe. These new E195-E2s from our orderbook offer demonstrable benefits for LOT, reducing fuel burn, carbon emissions and operating costs, while enhancing passenger comfort.  We thank Embraer and Pratt & Whitney for their ongoing partnership as we continue to expand the E2’s customer base.”
